For any of you that are worried about security on your computer, there is another site I use to check how secure my friends computers are.

Gibson Research has several different test you can run on your computer to insure that your computer is not sending out private information, or is open to attacks from hackers. Another concern of late has been kazzaa and other "spyware" programs that are used to implant a registry entry or cookie onto your computer, so as to track your internet surfing.

There is a tool that you can download to run the check for spyware. You can find this tool at:

Once again, it is important that you have your computer protected against these attacks. If you haven't already done so, it might be a good idea to use the resources that I posted above to insure that your computer is secure from attackers. Your Virus definitions for your AntiVirus should be updated, or you should at least check for updates daily. On some programs such as Norton AntiVirus, they have email scanning and script blocking. This prevents a virus from entering your system through a malicious email. Norton automatically either repairs or quarintines the file in question.
